Anyone reload these calibres if so any issues to look out for, see Kranks sell PPU brass for both these but not loaded ammo.

I load cast and FMJ in both my T38 and T99 Arisaka's using PPU brass without any issues.

The only thing I would point out is, that you will notice a fair amount of bulge at the base of fired 6.5 brass which is normal, due to the way the case is supported by the bolt when in battery.

Both my rifles are accurate with the right load and are a pleasure to shoot.

I load for both aswell, I doubt you will get loaded ammo apart from in the US. Advice I had was to not full length resize the 6.5 brass as the dies are not the correct SAAMI and you will knacker it ! I use a 6.5 swedish sizing die. For the 7.7 jap I use standard .303 174gr bullets and 6.5 139gr for the other. I was lucky enough to get Norma brass for both and do also have some ppu.
