Thanks to Mark Bradley I have a new toy
Pretty much standard, as I don't know what I might to change in the future. But the Geissele trigger was well worth the extra, it's very nice.
First outing on Century this Sunday, very windy, but using 55gr factory ammunition and the iron sights produced results I was pleased with.

Nice rifle I like
Can I ask why you went for the M16 style with a A2 fixed stock instead of the M4 carbine that seems to be the most popular thats seen on the range.
I have one with a A2 stock but from SGC I have changed the handguard, and removed the front sight as it's scoped now.

It's Mark's standard spec, 20" barrel, and I quite like the M16 style, the A2 stock fits me well. And I can change things in the future if I want to.
I spent my extras money on the trigger, I do like a nice trigger.

Well done, that's the beauty of the AR it's so versatile.

That is a good looking rifle, I have been following Mark's XM177 project on another forum with interest. I am tempted to build a retro type AR for myself.

It sounds identical to mine, even down to the trigger.
I have recently put a 3-12x50 S&B on mine though.................old eyes!

The A2 stock is not in the Gucci/Tacticool list of comments, but it is a very good stock which tends to fit an awful lot of body shapes and neck lengths well.
