Just wondering how people tackle reloading GGG/American Eagle or other crimped primer pocketed brass? Looking for a quick and easy way to get rid of the lip/crimp so I can get primers in there

45 degree countersink bit in a drill

Super 1050.

Some dedicated kit out there varying in outlay.

Lyman primer pocket tool kit has several reamers & swagers.
Dillon do a primer swager.
RCBS press/die style kit is not bad
More money spent = betterer mousetrap

Dillon Superswage 600, especially if you have a lot to do.

Or for the cheaper option, (£9), one of these in a cordless drill/driver.

But as Mag41 said, before i aquired the proper tool I used a normal countersinking bit..

Most case trimmers come equipped with a primer pocket uniform tool. I use a L.E.Wilson trimmer but you don't need to spend that kind of money other companies do similar tools.

Not sure even Jeff is keen enough to tackle the 500 cases I've got to get through

Thanks for the suggestions folks (and the offer Roger). Screwfix have the bits in for the princely sum of £1.30 and that's my kind of deal.

Stupid question; what do you hold the case with while using the bit? Or should there not be enough torque/bite put on it that you can't just hold it with you hand?

Clamp the drill to a work top and just offer the case to the countersink bit.
No real effort required - minimal material needs removing.
I did 100 223 cases in about 3 minutes.
