Off tomorrow to shoot T&P and Multi Target at the above competition. Not shooting CF until I've got the Marlin from Brian Fox (what a top bloke he is).

Competition is over 2 days but not shooting on Sunday. Next year however I'm entering everything!

Yes, good luck. Is it at the Black Dog range - I shot the comp there one year?

Dry when I shot multi Target and finished 3rd, splitting guys who were shooting for the Scotland teams at the Phoenix. Am well cuffed with that!

Forgot camera so no pictures I'm afraid.

It p*** with rain when I shot T&P1 and I couldn't see out my specs and I had a light strike so dropped a shot.

Mrs 357 entered her 1st comp having only ever shot 22 once before. Got 207/300 with 5 misses. If she can convert those misses into 9 or 10s then she is going to do well.

Well done Mike357 and well done to Mrs 357!

Now go and stand in the corner for forgetting that camera.

On the subject of specs I wear contacts these days and was shooting a service rifle comp in torrential rain one day when the rear sight on my P14 suddenly filled with water and it was like having a perfect little lense for a few seconds until my right contact got washed out.

I came last in that competition.

Ovenpaa, I usually wear contacts but recently I have been plagued with what my Opticians tells me is bad batches. They are never quite "don't know they are there" they give me headaches and I can't get a article and Target to focus properly.

I'm going back to Vision Express shortly ad I need a full eye test.
