Hot Blanks

Evening all
I was browsing the Ammo Zone website tonight looking for any cheap ammo deals and noticed that some of the blank ammo was labeled as "VERY HOT". And yet others described as just hot and others labeled as just blanks.
What do they mean by hot or very hot blanks? I understand blank ammunition can still be dangerous if not lethal but what do they mean by Hot exactly?
I may be over complicating it but I'm curious.

As above, but as regular, legal blank firers in this country vent upwards, I can't think for the life of me why you'd want any flash, let alone a big one. Well, unless you have some unruly facial hair you want to remove in a very manly way

Don't forget all the belt fed full auto .50's, .30's etc which are used in films and reenactment, they have a screw in restrictor at the muzzle to boost recoil to cycle the action.

The regular I was referring to was those guns which anyone can buy, rather than the real firearms converted for film/tv work. If anyone on here is involved in that side of things though I'd be most interested. I have, questions....

Chris at Ammozone does have his own system when he talks about the "hotness" of blanks. He generally means loudness.
The loudest ones he does are ex soviet 7.62x54
Some specially made blank firers such as the STEN types are built and calibrated to only work with certain brands of blank. some will work with Privi but not with Radway green. And if your paying £1000+ for a full auto blank firer it's a bit disappointing if it doesn't cycle on full auto.
If anyone knows where there is any 303, 7.62 NATO and 7.92 blank for sale I'd be interested as the country has run dry. The War and peace show, military odyssey and the production of Dunkirk has drained the country of blank. I will have to load a batch of my own again.
