Due to multiple changes in circumstances among our little group of 4/5 we're looking to eat lunch on site now after a Sunday am shoot before departing in different directions - anyone bother to do so, and if so any recommendations for best facility to have a meal on site at Bisley....?

Well, we've used the Clays cafe, London & Middx, North London, and the NSRA cafe at Lord Roberts...........
The NSRA cafe does the best fry-up, but the ambience is lacking. The Clays has the best ambience, but the fry-up is lacking.
The London & Middx is OK, a bit like a slightly shabby 50's pub. Food can be reasonable, if somewhat limited. They may do a Sunday type lunch (roast)
We had a sandwich and a pint in the North London...........

I agree with what pete has stated, although this morning early (saturday) went to the London & Middx for breakfast, everything was only slightly warm, toast was like eating a paving slab, yes I did say about it got a negative reaction. Nothing else was open so you take what you can find. Best place NRSA cafe.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Clays Cafe - we go there whenever we are at Bisley except if an early morning we go to the NSRA for a bacon sandwich. None of it is exactly fine dining but certainly adequate. Clays is fine if you like a fry up so don't expect meat and three veg with gravy.

I usually lunch in the Clays Cafe, the service is good, the prices reasonable, and a fry up is fine by me. And the menu has expanded a bit recently.

Pardon my ignorance, is the Clay's Cafe the same place as Jennys?

No clays cafe is at the shot gun shooting range top of the hill near the clock tower. Jenny's is a snack bar to the left & rear of the London & Middx club house.
