Yes ran one for a while . Did the job and held zero but what lets it down is the dot and screen quality .
In the end I wanted a precise dot with a larger screen area for pick up speed so went Eotech .
The shield is ok but check others out would be my advise

What are you putting it on? Its just that all micro sights can suffer from 'missing dot syndrome' if they're on a pistol, due to the small window, they're also slower to acquire on rifles/shotguns at times too, but sometimes they're the best/only viable option e.g. slide mounted on a pistol

I had a couple of the mini sights and got rid of them. Main reason is the auto adjust caused problems for me in certain situations.
I know have two of their SIS sights which are fantastic and solve all the problems I used to encounter.
The only other red dot I would give a home to is the C-MORE

Bit left field here but have a look at the vortex 1-4 scopes. They are essentially a red dot at 1x and have a great reticle.

Not too expensive and a good scope too.

Their sparc and venom red dots are also good

I've run the sparc 2 red dot . Although not a miniature red dot sight found this to be better than a shield . Competitively priced and decent warranty you could do worse - but the glass again is not completely 'true' - take a look down it and you'll see what the problem is .
Aimpoints are all nice and ooze quality at a price .
Eotechs also nice but a bit fragile and also not cheap

To be honest it's between the shield and sparc 2.price is a major factor, warranty and best value for money
