Ruger Redhawk .357 Accuracy

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

I have a Ruger Redhawk .357 12" LBR here at the moment, does anyone shoot one of these and if so can you give me an idea of the expected 25m accuracy please. (Factory and/or reloaded)

My dad had one for a while, I'll be sure to ask him when I see him if he remembers what accuracy he got. Can't say anything for loads other than bullets were 158 grn's.

mine matched my marlin,

rested at 25m it would do 6 shot groups with them pretty much all touching if I did my part, usually 1 would be slightly out, the first round, no idea why??

that was homeloaded, never shot factory through it

Had a couple over the years and got to be honest the fun factor always over took the trying to be accurate factor ;)
