Has anybody tried using one of the borescopes available via Amazon?

There seem to be several 'cheap' versions that produce an image onto either laptop and/or smartphone. I now that you get what you pay for but just wondered if any of you had tried these £20-odd cameras for 7.62?

Thanks

They do work, John, but unless you really know what it is you're looking at they can scare the bejeezus out of you! lol

All I can suggest is that you buy one of the ebay/Amazon units to get a feel for the results, and take it from there. ;)

Which ones are you referring to?

I bought one of the 5.5mm cameras from ebay, and it gets okay results.

See here:

Hope this helps :)

You can say that again!, I looked down the bore of my '39 Mosin with one and it looked like the surface of an alien planet with moutains and ravines interspersed with copper rich veins and the remnants of ancient fires!!!.

The new Lyman borescope is very good for £250.

An excellent investment for any shooter looking for accurate results from their rifle.

Without a borescope, how do you know the barrel is clean?
