Cast lead loads for 303 Brit

Been meaning to ask about this for a while, since talking to Ovenpaa...
Any good loads to recommend for cast lead 200gr Lyman mould heads (gas checked)? I'd be glad to know any recipes you might have, including those with Unique. Probably for 300 yards or less.

I notice Dodgyrog is rather quiet right now, probably sleeping after a busy night on the church roofs :lol:

Been stalking (deer not people) - 5744 (Accurate powder) is a good starting point.
What range are you shooting them?
Don't forget to CLEAN the barrel of ALL the copper fouling.
I can push my boolits quite hard so I sometimes use Accurate 2520.
Look at the Accurate powder listings and start at the lowest recommended load.
Use a good lube - not ALOX/Beeswax.
Try Carnuba lube.

Got to disagree.
5744 is a good powder but Acurrate have ghanged all their powder designations so where 5744 is amongst this time will tell. Also supply is interrmittent no point in developing a load with apowder that could be in short supply in the future.
Vihatvuori N110 and N120 are equally fine powders in the same burning range and are more readily available.
Also Alox/Beeswax does work well, 2500 Alox/Beeswax lube does just that works well up to 2500 fps. Carnauba is a an Alox Beeswax lube that has Carnauba in it, it helps to keep the bore shiny. Carnauba also needs heat to flow in a lube sizer.
What are Lyman mould heads, what part of the mould is that?

Lovex D060 replaces Accurate 5744 - same powder is my guess, rebranded.
It comes from the same factory in the Czeck Republic (is that how it's spelled).

I hope that it is just a rebrand, however I'd like to see some tested data to convince me.
5744 is a well repected powder and to loose its name for just a rebrand doesn't make much advertising/product loyalty sense.
