Akdal 1919 Magazines in a BR99?

Anyone actually use Akdal mags in a BR99?

I have 3 of the 5-rounders and 3 of the 2-rounders, but I would like to get comments from someone who has actually used these before I try this myself. Did you have to modify the mags? Or the gun?

Unfortunately I couldn't get any 10-rounders and the 5-rounders I got were not available in black, only mossy oak camo.

I use 10rd MKA1919 in my BR99. They're actually a better fit (in the factory gun) than the 10rd BR99 mags! They don't have the same amount of curvature to them so they're not as stiff for getting in/out. They are however heavier, more bulky and the bases are prone to breaking if you drop them on hard surfaces with several cartridges still in.

N.B. My gun has had its magwell filed and they aren't too loose if that's a concern either. They have a lip all the way around which seats them nicely and prevents over insertion if you really whack your mags in (only really an issue with an open bolt).

Never heard of 2rders, are they just 5rders with a plug or are they just tiny?

I haven't tried the Akdal mags yet. I will let you know how I get on (it is quite frustrating because I can only do target shotgun once a month at my club, and there isn't much time for functional testing).

I should add that the 10 round Akdal mags were bought from GP Rifle (the Swedish company Mark provided the link for). I got two of them for just under £100 all in. (Only one of them is shown above)
