well as I was moving, I duly lodged all my guns with an RFD, and moved out of my flat, I currently live in my digs, which isn't really secure enough for guns to be kept in it, so the guns have stayed at my RFD.
so I inform Beds I've moved, they send me my FAC back, telling me they have informed Avon and Somerset.
now at this point, as far as I'm concerened, if I want to go back to Luton, grab a gun or two off the RFD and shoot at the club I still belong to, then return the gun to the RFD andhead home to the digs in Bristol, I can....
well time rolls on and A&S FEO makes an appointment and comes to see me, he then tells me Beds police have moved ALL my guns from my FAC into the disposed of section on the firearms database, so which guns do I actually have... wallhead wallhead wallhead **** ****

cue the next 20 mins checking serial no's and gun types on FAC and SGC against his database to see what I should still have or not. teanews

So, am I right in thinking, after telling Beds I'd moved, If my FAC had been checked while i was in possession of my guns, I'd be shown to be in illegal possession??

time was not completely wasted though, as I submitted a new variation with A&S while FEO was visiting, so hopefully should get them done at the same time as a new ticket. Although I've been told the 7.3 i'm asking for will be submitted to the HO for them to decide if I can have it or not

it's so sad because the few I've met (like Mary) care a lot about their jobs and know how frustrated we as shooters are.

hi, thanks, I've spoken to someone very briefly about it, as soon as I get moved, I will chase it up again, but primarily I want to join BDRPC as I know and work with some members, but I have no problem with belonging to both. just wish one of you had a hundred yrd range!

We have good access to MoD ranges at Langport, Yoxter, Warminster, Bulford etc. where we regularly push out to 600. Please pm me, if the system allows, or come to one of our meet and greet evenings, which are currently in Chilcompton before you make a decision.
