Possible ban of SGC Lever Release & CSA VZ.58 MARS Rifles ?

I was told by an RFD a few weeks back that the Police are taking a fresh look at these systems with a view to a possible ban
Apparently they were discussed at a recent Police Officers conference in Blackpool but I have not been able to find any details. Does anyone here know what the situation is?
I really hope I don't loose my SGC 9mm LR

By the way, I have put over 600 rounds through it and it is working perfectly, certainly hasn't blown up yet

And why do you think that is funny?

Was he referring to that thing from police minutes last year? That was ages ago and nothing was done? Saddler had it right when he said "told by an RFD".

As an RFD I speak to other RFD's and rumours/information not immediately in the public domain is exchanged on occasion. Some of it is top notch stuff and I have been made aware of things that took many months to surface so I would not immediately disregard or ridicule everything you hear from an RFD even if much of it is utter bolloxs :)

RFD's = possibly the biggest harbingers of doom & misinformation on the planet!
I've dealt with some RFD's that refuse to believe & COMPLY with the written laws as they now stand, as
"...the local FEO says not to..."!!
Worked at a couple of main importers: their lack of firearms legislation knowledge was underwhelming - the majority of staff = not a clue; the latter importers was ONLY motivated by £££ per month so the boss could froth at the mouth over his bank balance.
The really knowledgeable RFD's in the UK are very few & far between...several trade on here, some don't.
Not YET heard any RFD mention the proposed changes about to be discussed in Westminster:
Section 2 to go
Section 58 to go
.22 pistols to come back onto FAC

It shouldn't be long until the next lot of minutes are released so there may well be something more about them. I wouldn't worry too much it would require some legislation to get them banned which is never a short process. I suspect its just what an RFD 'reckons'/has half read the minutes from the last FELWG meeting

Hmmm, more 'ifs, buts and maybes' here than in a Bremain forecast...
