the policing bill is now in the committe stage however one of the amendments states that all certicates costs must be set at a full cost recovery ! does that mean that we are going see a big increase in renewals now ? £200+
the plus side of this bill, is that the expending ammo, section 15 and section 7 amendments are also in the committee stage

And we will pay for that and then some, how the hell can our "representative" bodies be agreeing to this sh!te.
Besides the fact that no one has asked never mind answered the fundamental question as to why we as a small section of society have to pay for a government instigated community safety measure which we as shooters get no benefit from.
Who in the name of hell is to say what full cost is anyway with such inefficient practices as most certificate, not licensing that is the explosives bit, issuing authorities use.
Our national organisations are bending over on our behalf yet again, I have just finished forcing myself to read the latest in house basc propaganda rag and can only assume from their alien view of shooting that their heads are well entrenched in their rectums.

As I have always said, as soon as other uses of police resources i.e. Scum bags and low life's pay the full cost of recovery for what they use I'll be happy to chip more into the pot, I pay my taxes, I pay my council tax with a specific charge for the police, (do they, I doubt it) therefore as I see it I'm all square with it.
I work in a busy town centre and see the police resources wasted on oxygen thieves day after day, same people time after time
