I have been thinking about a new to me gun for a while but every time I think I have made up my mind I think of another calibre/gun it is now down to the following.
22 Hornet
243
303 No 4 (Second World War age)
303 SMLE 1 3* (Second World War age)
I have other guns that cover the game and vermin requirements so the choice of gun could be any of them.
Recommendations for which gun and why

Between hunting and target shooting I can justify my guns.

22 Hornet is fun and pushing it much past 200m adds to the challenge.

Just buy all of them, that seems to be what I have done over the years !
