Hi Guys. Looking to put a mod on my 308, it's a got a heavy barrel and I use it for target shooting.
Suggestions please, it must be stripable, don't mind if it's over the barrel or fitted on the end.

I used a PES T12 on my Remmy before rebarreling it for FTR, it worked a treat. Is your barrel already threaded?

I use a Tier-One Spartan III on my Tikka T3 Super Varmints (1x .308 and 1x .300 WSM) - this moderator gives the option of end of or over-barrel, and also over brake, it's fully strip-able and very effective.

You can't really go wrong with a Wildcat Predator

I have a Tier One spartan and a wildcat predator 8. You won't go wrong with either. The wildcat is slightly cheaper, the spartan has more options should you wish to play with the configuration.
Both companies have excellent customer service.
Can't speak for anymore.

Are some Maccteccs strippable? I've got one for my VZ58 but you can't take it to pieces, brilliant mod though, just make sure the threads on your barrel are perfectly square to the bore though, the tolerances on the exit hole are tiny!

No they are not strippable. The Macctecc are UK designed and built with unique features and patents to suit which is why I like to use them, supporting British industry is always a good thing and you know what you are getting is not a clone, copy or of foreign manufacture however it is all down to how patriotic you are feeling at the time :)
