Most if not all of us, self included, have arrived here from GT, where hitherto, conflict ... more often than not, degenerated swiftly into hostilities and paranoia and Alexander having another stroke.

Yet, it has held.

Congratulations everyone! Have you noticed how trust has broken out, freedom of speech has succeeded and healthy considered debate has relished.

Very early days. This forum version has been up a couple of weeks now, with the old 'version' around for maybe 3 weeks? I think the changes from GT to FB Mk1 to FB Mk2 resulted in a bit of a shake up but I would like to think the die hards are here now and with luck the forum will attract further membership.

The one thing that has surprised me is how much effort it takes to run a forum, Christel dedicates a huge amount of time behind the scenes, planning, plotting talking to people, pushing ideas. A whole new and alien world to her, and I watch with interest to see where she takes us.

Has SHE spotted the wind up merchants yet?
