Can anyone help me with my search for 10g and 12g slug molds please?
I'm aware that I may have a choice for 12 but 10??
:(

John,
I'm using the Lee 1oz slug mold at the moment in 12ga and it's also available in 7/8oz.
Lyman do a hollow base slug in 20 and 12ga and the also do a Sabot slug (like a big airgun pellet!), again in 12 and 20ga. But the Lyman is three times the cost of the Lee and you also have to buy handles for the Lyman!
The Lee and the Lyman Sabot are designed to be used in standard shotgun hulls and with standard wads, and they are star crimped, so no need for roll crimping tools.
I load my slug on a Lee Load All. Cheap and chearfull and adequate for the job. And at under 40 quid, almost disposable!
I've never seen any 10ga slug molds around, but then, I've never had to look for them. Lee do have a custom mold facility, so it might be worth an email to them....

Thanks,
I'll try Lee, otherwise it may be design my own and get busy learning how to use a lathe and milling machine!
Custom molds I know, can be expensive.
NDFS where are you now?

The Lee custom mold option is about 100 dollars US!
