Australian connections? Need to get a package sent from Oz

As it says, I'm about to hopefully buy a few books from someone selling up & having a clear out.

The PROBLEM - he's not too well health wise so is housebound. His wife has to do all the posting of things.
He is also NOT keen on posting abroad & insists that I have an internal address to which he can mail the books.
If he could possibly be any more of a fuddy duddy about this he'd probably be on here as a guest moderator

Ideally I need someone he can ship the books to, in Australia, who can then ship them up to me.
He's in Victoria.

For the sake of him NOT wanting to add a CN22 Customs Label & a couple of AirMail stickers this is turning into a lot of grief, BUT I'm hoping that it's not going to be impossible to sort out.
The issue is that one of the books he has aside for me is one that I have been looking for for about 20 years, hence my attempt to at least find a solution to the "problem" rather than tell him to forget it.

All ideas welcome - well, some ideas, in case Jeff has a brain wave!

I can't help you by ways of an address, but I ordered same gun parts from Australia and there weren't any problems with shipping to the UK aside from the VAT I had to pay.

In the US I know that you can pay some companies to setup a PS box which receive your orders then ship all in one box. Never used them myself but wonder if there's an equivalent in Australia.

What book did you find by the way? Anything interesting?

As above, there are companies that will do this kind of thing.

Could be expensive... How much do you want the book?

Pack and Send will go to the bloke's house, pack them up securely in a decent box, and then ship them with insurance cover. It's not the cheapest but certainly is handy and reliable. And quick.

Just a suggestion and by the sound of it probably far too scary!
E bay have their Global delivery service.
E.G. I recently sold an item on the bay to some one in Italy.
The only postage I paid was too eBay global hub in the UK.
It then went from there to the address in Italy with no further charges.
It will even sort out any duty where applicable.
It may be possible for the seller (!) to list the whole lot on eBay.au as a buy it now.
I assume the Global delivery will work from Aus to here?
Just a thought
Tony
