winchester sx3 problem
Hi guys looking for some advice.I have a fac sx3 and having a wee bit of a feed problem.sometimes when loading the magazine it's as if it's full IE won't let me insert any cartridges but if I try at a angle it works.is there a known issue with the sx3.thanks
Re: winchester sx3 problem
What a strange fault... I know they recalled the SXP for feed issues or something along those lines, but not heard of any SX3 problems.
Is this a new shotgun with a problem or an older one with a new issue? Just thinking about warranty etc.

Older one with a new issue.I've been told it was a known sx3 issue.supposedly the feed ramp and magazine are not flush
Re: winchester sx3 problem
That would explain the need to load at a particular orientationnearly there wrote:Older one with a new issue.I've been told it was a known sx3 issue.supposedly the feed ramp and magazine are not flush
Re: winchester sx3 problem
Just wondering if it's fixable myself or a gunsmith job.

Have a goosey on the FourIslands forum and/or UKPSA (if you're a member), I'm sure it will have been covered if its a known issue

Andy Haines at Masterclass custom or the good folks at Shield shooting centre. I haven't found anyone up Norf that specialises unfortunately.

Depends where up north. Cheshire Gun Room have 3 gunsmiths on site & one specialises in all things shotgun.Blackstuff wrote:Andy Haines at Masterclass custom or the good folks at Shield shooting centre. I haven't found anyone up Norf that specialises unfortunately.

I meant ACTUAL North
Thanks for the tip on Cheshire though, that's a bit closer and not too much of a hike if I was going to Rossendale or Diggle
