What does ZF stand for on 'scopes?
I often see the 'ZF' used in conjunction with German 'scopes and I have a 'ZFM' on my SSG69 P1 however I have no idea what ZF stands for, can anyone enlighten me please?

Don't know for sure, but could it be an abbreviation of "ZielFernrohr"

Could it possibly stand for "Zee Fuhrer" said in a thick comedy German accent, while holding a glass of schnapps and clicking your heels?
