Yeah the shooting show is terrible - totally hate it when I find things there that rfd's aren't advertising elsewhere for some reason like - oooh Dragunov's for instance that I bought last time out
I'm hoping when I go to Harrogate they totally don't have any FAL's/L1A1's/Lithgows that I totally don't want - bloody shows!
Joking aside - if I can go on a friday and get in and out quick - that suits me, but like a lot of yer I work for meself so no work no pay

Wait, do we hate BASC now as well as the NRA?
I'll be going as
a) it's close-ish
b) I like having a fondle and furtle of rifles and shotguns; and
c) it's better than a four-year-olds' birthday party which is the alternative.

Hate BASC? I am a Trade Member however I stopped going to big shows after Stoneleigh Park where I literally did get pushed from stand to stand by a wave of people three deep. I much prefer and continue to attend the smaller shows.Kungfugerbil wrote:Wait, do we hate BASC now as well as the NRA?

The BASC comment was meant in a light hearted way, I should probably have used a smiley face :)Ovenpaa wrote:Hate BASC? I don't think anyone knows what to expect numbers-wise for this as it's an unknown quantity. We're not spoilt for choice up here so I'll be going anyway, and I hope it goes well (but not too well!)
