New Webley - Made in the UK

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

If they were to sell reproduction Webley Fosbery's at a decent price they would sell like hot cakes. No need to make them in a new caliber, .455 would be just fine, and no development would be needed. With modern CNC technology they would not be expensive to produce. They would sell the by the thousand in Canada alone never mind the US.

Just had an e-mail saying the LBR version would be approx £7000.00 Can could do it but not on the production list at the moment

Had it been even £2000 I would consider it, £7000 is outter space. Want to recoup the development cost within 10-20 guns ??!!

Think of the tooling cost alone, and only sell 50. Bloody bargain.

There's people who pay more for a Bottle of Wine.

I'd have a cased pair and sell my Baikals.

Make them with two interchangeable cylinders, 45acp and 45Colt, just like the Blackhawk I had, then they would sell like hot cakes.
