The AK-74UB with the BS-1M grenade launcher in the pic has got an ultra-rare 20 round orange Bakelite (actually a reinforced plastic called AG-4) "Tanker" mag.They are pretty much the "Holy Grail" of AK mags and probably second only to the special green mags that came with the special presentation AKs that were presented to Russian Border Guards for exemplary service.

, but for every nugget of information in my noggin there's a ton of drivel.When ever I take something in something else gets pushed out!.
For anyone that's interested here's a pic of a Border Guard presentation AKM with the green Bakelite mag, stock and handguards.They usually end up in the Central Museum of The Border Guard Service in Moscow but the one in the picture below is at the Kalashnikov Museum in Izhevsk.
the plate on the receiver reads "To a brave frontier guard, the winner of a socialist labor competition. Construction Engineer M. Kalashnikov."
