At 75 quid off fleabay, these gazebo's are a no-brainer for a wet day on the range.

If it keeps the rain off you and everyone is happy what is not to like. If the wind was anything like here I suspect you had some serious pegs to hold it down.

It's essential to arrange it so that shooters can see all round when shooting in case anyone approaches, and anyone approaching can see that there are shooters down.
Hence the sides are lifted a couple of feet at the base.
As for wind, bungees are a much better idea than ropes. They give a bit during the gusts so that stability is maintained.

Bisley rain always seems to be wetter than elsewhere. I remember shooting a Full-Bore forum McQueen comp there a few years ago in torrential rain. Despite waterproofs I was soaked through from lying in a puddle. The rain stopped just as we were walking back to the car park and I had to wait until everyone had gone before stripping off completely to put on dry clothes. It was the day Kenny wore shorts and told us skin was waterproof so what was the problem.

We were shooting next to this, we got soaked, spend an hr cleaning rifles & am still drying kit .... ye bunch of pussies! :run:

Why cant NRA buy some of the frames the NSRA don't use & cover 10x Fp at 300, 600 900 & 1000yds over winter. I bet more would come out to play if they didnt get drenched.
