NRA Intro to Gallery Rifle 14th Nov 2015

I went down to Bisley today for this course. Despite the inclement weather it was very good.
A great ratio of almost one coach to every two participants meant there was lots of opportunity to ask questions and get good advice.
The day ranged from an hour in the classroom covering the basics that we all should know but sometimes forget, to six hours on the range with a good variety of courses of fire, positions and timings.
Double helpings of proper food at the Army Target Club lunch kept us all warm and fueled for the afternoon session.
Learned a lot and now looking forward to bringing some of it back to my home club.
Will be starting to compete in the new year with a little confidence :-)
Many thanks to Neil, Gwyn, Maria, Ted(?) and everyone else at Bisley for an excellent day, would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who is curious about this whole GR thing.
Only downside is that I'm now looking to buy a .44 underlever which I hadn't previously budgeted for!
