Fancy a few days in Vegas and a week of shooting ?

#1 Post by breacher »

Anybody interested in a few days in Vegas, followed by a week of tuition in pistol shooting, rifle ( AK, AR and even .50 cal ) shotgun, a few fun comps and a night time Zombie Shoot ? All ammo included - plenty, you will NOT run out of ammo !!!
I went last year and am going back this year. Have negotiated a £50 discount on the package.

And the same for anybody who mentions my website when booking.

Guys and girls - this is a FANTASTIC holiday run by a Brit for Brits. I had 500 rds of 5.56mm and 100 9mm left over after running my guns red hot on the last day - gave them away to a grateful Yank !!

YOU WILL NOT RUN OUT OF AMMO.

And shoots you will not see in UK like the Golf Buggy drive by shooting - shooting at targets with a pistol as you are driven past them at speed bangbang

Then the night time Zombie shoot !!!!!

Mods - have posted here rather than the Vendors thread in order to get maximum coverage.

NOT my venture - I just managed to get a discount for any FBrs who mention me when booking.

Part of me really wants to, but I'm a little put off by the drive-by! I can think of a lot of practical application of the majority of the shooting, but that's not really useful in darkest East Anglia!

I do have to admit that the end of March is a nice time of year for it and flights to vegas are pretty cheap. I'll see if I can persuade the wife.

why ? Don't you have drive-in Mc Donald in your neck of the wood ?
Anyway it sounds super fun as well as the rest of the program. I bet you got the Viking's attention with that nocturnal zombies hunt... :good:

The emphasis is on FUN and doing what we would never be allowed in the UK ( in terms of firearms used, targets engaged, course of fire etc )

I did a sniper shoot ( military and police ) in Europe and shot at targets in the dark at 200 metres momentarily lit up by a POW camp style searchlight. Absolutely no application to my UK shooting but FUN nonetheless !!!

I went last year and really enjoyed it. Top tuition from the instructors, not at all formal - SAFE but FUN.

Trust me - you will love it.

And bring a credit card for the gunshops - buy a couple of scope or other accessories and what you save quickly helps pay for the flights !!!

All details available via link from my website. Follow the link.

Mention my website for £50 discount. Not a huge discount but will pay for a couple of steak dinners and beers in Vegas !!

Quite a few Wives, Partners and Girlfriends going. My wife is going ( hoping to beat the Casinos in Vegas ) as a non-shooting observer but I am sure we will get a gun in her hands for a couple of rounds at some stage.

Actually, the last day is a tactical comp against the American CCW guys - house clearance with pistol where you get penalised for not engaging a target where he could have engaged you first.

Surprisingly, last year, the Brits were far from the bottom of the results table and impressed the Yanks.

I lost a few points as I engaged a target in a hallway, feeling good about my tight double tap group and walked past a doorway without engaging the target in that room. I think the UK shooters drilled in sense of safety and muzzle awareness makes us THINK about what we are doing in this sort of comp more than the Yanks.

Yes - but it it isn't a full blown tactical course which is what I meant. Shooting at or from a moving platform is not as easy as it looks...

Agreed, you are correct: IMO our love of rules and safe firearm handling does us good in these parts, also we have no or fewer preconceived ideas about what to do.
feeling good about my tight double tap group
;) That group will open up as you shoot quicker lol lol Try it and see. Yeah I know it was a competition, just pulling yer chain a bit O:-) cheers

Two ducks flying over Belfast.

One duck says "Quack Quack".

The other one says "I am going as Quack as I can"
