Yes they're doing a great job these days. Aberdeen turned around my last two variations (July & Sept) in 10 days door to door (and second class post took 3 days of that!).

Almost a month here & no news of anything happening...hence the official complaint the other week!

The daft thing is I can think of two more very valid complaints about the lack of an efficient service & not using Home Office guidance: one to do with Edinburgh & the other Glasgow

Good turn around time (10 days) from Aberdeen but left off one rifle and the ammunition for another rifle from my FAC. 8-)

Gets worse.... I had a problem with rifle I collected on this variation and returned it. For replacement rifle I need another variation. Contacted Hampshire police 6-8 weeks which will probably actually be 12 weeks. For exactly the same slot/variation they completed a few weeks before.
Been told at my club Surrey are doing theirs with a week and West Sussex less than a week.

What can be done about Hampshire?? ****

Lincolnshire are on target to hit 3 months for a 1:1 variation and the same for my application for some additional slots....
