I need to replace my much loved and sadly missing set of RCBS Priming tools. They will be used for everyday reloading so will need a feed tray, does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations?

Iv tried them all over the years. I keep going back to my original Lee automprime hand held tool cheap and cheerful but they just work. I tried the new Lee ones and did not like them at all so I gave them away. I tried the RCBS one and that went the journey as well. If I see any of the Lee originals for sale I buy them. I have enough of them to see me out.

Why not get RCBS again.

I really like them and they are my go to priming tools, hand held and bench, tube, tray and APS loaded.

The old Lees were good too but fragile the new "improved" ones are crap.

As above, Lee hand primer here for non-progressive reloading here.

Has to be the RCBS Universal Hand Priming Tool, slightly more expensive but worth the money, only improvement I could make to mine was to use the Lee primer trays as they flip primers better than the one supplied by RCBS.

Superb bit of kit, I'm thinking of getting a second on our next trip to the US just so I can have them permanently set for large and small primers :)

Lee hand primer here too.

It allows a great feel of the primer/pocket fit.

Have tried a few on-press- priming tools but never had the same feel as the Lee hand primer.
Not tried any other hand primers though so my experience is limited, but, heck, if it aint broke.....

i have three Lee hand primers. Two of them are more than 30 years old and still function well. What else do you need?

Trouble is Fred they are no longer made and those of us in the know tend to buy up second hand ones when we can,
