LBP - Coat Hanger Problem

I have a Sig P226 LBP with the coat hanger as we all have to have. My coat hanger is getting very slightly loose. Mike from Icon Arms who supplied the pistol seems to have dropped off the face of the earth ? I was hoping someone could recommend a gunsmith who could solve this problem. I do not want to fall foul of returning the pistol to a Section 5 by removing and refitting, so need a solution that will ensure the coat hanger is solid.

Can't you just squirt a bit of glue/ silicon sealant etc in there to hold it, after all that's all that's been holding it up to now isn't it?

Two part epoxy

The Coat hanger on the Sig is fixed in by a hardened steel screw / pin. So not just glued in. I have used some epoxy but still very slight movement. This will keep working and when needed can be re-applied. but was looking for a long term fix.

I would send it to Norman Clark in Rugby,
He would make a good job of it for you.

And then send the invoice to Icon Arms, you've only had it a couple of months or so. Does anyone know what's happening with Icon? is anyone there answering emails, phone calls etc.? their Faceache page hasn't been updated for over 4 months.

Sorry for the derailment, but were you (QWS) at the Steel Challenge at Tall Trees GC on the Sunday a few weeks back? Just put 2 and 2 together.

Bah, i'll say hello next time

I think the franctic nature of the shooting for that match, especially as it was the first time i'd done it had me more focused on the shooting than normal.
P.S. You REALLY need to get a holster for your Sig!
