Hi All,
I'm looking at reloading some ggg 7.62X51 nato with 2155 and n140, I've been looking at quickload and put in my details as follows:
smk 2155 155 grain
43 grains n140
10 fired cases measured with water and average weight of filled cases 54 grains
OAL of round 2.8"
case trimed to 2.005"

I'm just a bit concerned about pushing the ggg too far. Any opinions or comments ???

what is it you think is the problem,,looks pretty normal to me

If you're worried why aren't you starting at Vhit's recommend starting load (e.g. 37.0 grains)?

I've reloaded them at 42 grains with no visable issues and want to push them a bit more but I dont want to go too far, hence asking for advice from someone more experienced than myself. I suppose Im questioning the reduced load capacity in a 7.62 due to thicker brass, I've not been able to find any specific reloading for the nato brass. I've seen people posting about 44grains plus but thats in commercial .308 brass.

Primers slightly flatter but no cratering and no ejection marks, cases look good no marks anywhere.

If that is how you are looking for pressure then it is a recipe for disaster, they are all unreliable and some down right dangerous. If that is what you are relying on for your load development then it verges on just pack the powder in 'till the gun blows up and then back off a few grains, if you are still alive or able bodied afterwards.

Did you have any problems seating the primers in the GGG brass?

Thats a bit harsh bud, I'm looking of other signs of pressure to:

Excessive Recoil
Hard Extraction
Flattened Primers
Extruded Primers

Just thought someone could help out thats all.

I have dillon superswage, well worth it in my eyes.
bit of an arse to set up but flies through them when done.
