Hi folks .. I've got a couple of moderators that I can't take apart .. Any tips for getting the crud out of them.. I've used brake cleaner which seems to be ok (ish) Anyone know of anything better ? I've heard of people using everything from Milton fluid to cillit bang to coca cola !!!
(I don't have access to an ultrasonic cleaner sadly)
Thanks in advance

what are you shooting through them? RF or CF? if CF then I wouldnt bother they should self clean, all I do with my ASE Utra is put a squirt of WD40 in each end at the end of a session (manufacturers instructions) if RF then its a bit more sticky as they are prone to dump unfired powder, Coke strangley enough may be the field expedient answer.
edit just read your signature.....Coke or maybe a seaclean solution (available from Maplin)
