they have got ridiculous!
I didn't really want to use them again after the last problems, but they are the only ppl it seems that will still ship to the UK.
so I go and find the 3 hole winchester 1897 stock i want -
https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/ProductD ... t-finished - $46, quite reasonable I think. and i don't want anything special done, so think, hmmm go on then.
$62 postage!!!

? its a small lump of wood! this means its over the $100 too, so I couldn't buy it anyway.
midway list them, but no longer ship to the UK.
brownells UK list the stock, but not the forend.
gun-parts.com list them, but again, won't ship to the UK
its a lump of wood!!!!

The $100 limit does not apply to postage; Boyd will ship any stock under $100 to the UK, though the postage fee is high (approx $70), and you may have to wait a month or so before it ships. You will be charged VAT (total cost, incl. postage) when it gets to the UK.

Do you know anyone in the States that could get one for you and ship it over to you at a reasonable price?

ok, must have got mixed up, although i still would rather give my money to someone else first, even if it is still for a boyds stock.
