So a mistake is made and no one spotted it - or did they and just kept quiet for the sake of a prosecution.
At any rate, good he's out.

Will the prosecution be docked their pay or be sanctioned in any way? I think not.

Surely there's something they can do to keep these hardened criminals locked up - How can these clever lawyers live with themselves when they get these dangerous gangsters off on a technicality?

What about using nitro cartridges in a BP proofed gun? That must be worth two years at least and was he wearing his seat belt at the time of arrest?
