Well its the first one I've heard for sale. A good run down of what it comes with might help. What mags does it come with (Radways?), Iron or SUSAT sights, sling and cleaning kit? Also does he know where it has come from? Sometimes having a story helps.

This one could be more a case of what someone is willing to pay as I believe they are as rare as * .
*(insert rare thing of choice)

A Unicorn that farts rainbows made of lucky charms marshnmellows?

And has a regenerating horn that is hard on the outside but contains an unlimited supply of Haribo Gummi bears on the inside. I also reckon on a more serious note that in addition to the rare factor, the element of what someone is willing to pay is going to play a huge role, especially as there is stuff out there that does the same thing for less money, a collector on the other hand might be willing to spend the dough. I'm sure a few years back somebody paid something like £2500 for one though maybe?

Didn't Charlotte the Flyer buy one a few months back, or did the thread stymie the purchase?

Ultimately the seller, unless he has to dispose of it in a hurry, can name his price. At least £2000 sounds reasonable enough for the rarity of them.

I think she did buy one
I think you might need more than 2k for one.

Stupid reluctance to let any firearms be sold of as surplus these days. The Government could make a mint slowly releasing the old rifles onto the market.

I was thinking at this point with no rush, 2500-2750 possibly. Most of the ones around were brought back from Canada or the odd combined services selling some off (someone who knows better is free to correct me here). Other's were re-engineered into semi autos for the Army cadets also I believe?
