I have an old leather shotgun belt and a leather sling that really need some TLC, having become very dry - can anybody recomend what I can use to breath new life into them please. Must be some good leather products out there, but always better to get them recomended!

Have you done a search?

Also have a look at saddlers thread, Moore Leather, bit of a give away, in the Vendors section.

Ko Cho Line is the recommended dressing. What I use.

I did do a quick search before posting, but could not find anything, but if you could point me in the right direction that would be helpful and thanks for the suggestions

Well I've just done a search for leather and it took me just less than a minute to skim through the listings and on page 6 for one of John Moores (saddler) threads where this is posted:

There are other threads that that if I had spent another minute at I would no doubt have found.

Hello....

http://www.mooreleather.co.uk/about-us/leather-care

I can supply, or it may be easier to source at your local saddlers/tack shop

Looks like this:

Other options that are BENEFICIAL are Mink Oil Paste, Fiebings Leather Dressing & the proprietary leather/hide food made by the Sedgwick Leather tannery.

To save wastage, apply whatever dressing you get with your fingers (NOT a cloth). You can then buff with a cloth or small shoe brush once it has been allowed to soak in.

Found this one via the search function looking a bit further;

http://www.full-bore.co.uk/viewtopic.ph ... her#p74192

Only took me two minutes of search time after punching in "leather" sorry that isn't quick enough for you.

Like most things in life the things of value are the ones that need a smidgen of effort.

Repeat after me; "the search function is my friend even if it does take up a couple of minutes of my time"

Continue repeating until learnt.
