Scottish tabloid vilifies police FAC holder

A Scottish tabloid has published pictures copied from an armed policeman’s Facebook page in an attempt to seemingly whip up anti-gun hysteria.

Blair McMaster, a Police Scotland employee who appears to hold a firearms certificate, posted pictures on his Facebook page of children posing with an AR-15 style rifle and a self-loading pistol.

Article also includes my tips on Facebook security, at the end.

Thanks for your article Gaz.

Daily Record reporters ... appear to be encouraged to sensationalise otherwise trivial events in lieu of finding real news.
Seems to be the case to say the least ...

1. It's Scotland - so nothing out of the ordinary for the "impartial press" up here...they have to have some sort of typeface on the otherwise blank side of the pages from the sex chat line adverts & toadying reports on the amazing deity Sturgeon...
Besides, they'll have been briefed (on the back of the brown bunga bunga envelopes from Holyrood) to start stirring the pot re. guns; stage one (airguns) now in the bag, need public outrage for the stage two (Section 1 FAC) clamp down.

2. FarceBuk - don't use it for ANYTHING that the great unwashed have zero interest/knowledge in in case you might risk frightening the horses
(I don't have an account on there, nor on Twatter or Instantgramme)

The Daily Record is the worst 'Newspaper' in the world. They led the campaign after Dunblane and yet I still remember shooters turning up on ranges with it.
If I ran a club and found a Daily Record reader in it they would be OUT so fast their feet wouldn't touch the ground! As many have said I wouldn't wipe my a--e with it.
As shooter in Scotland you have to remember it exists and THINK 'How would those B------d twist it?' before you do or post anything so I'm afraid this was not a very bright policeman even if his intentions were good.

Commonly known as the Daily Retard and their sister paper the Sunday Hatemail, they represent the worst possible excesses in what passes for journalism. Blatant lies and hysteria are their trademark when there's no football to write about.

The papers are aimed at those with the mentality of an anvil and they push the Scottish Nazi Party or Labour agenda at every turn. A paper for the lowest classes (No Class) in Scotland, the Sunday Hatemail was again whipping uphysteria on Sunday with COME TO SCOTLAND and KILL SOMETHING (seemed the US dentist lion killing poacher guy was offered a trip to shoot deer or something) , oblivious to the many jobs that depend on fieldsports in Scotland.

In essence they are papers for hard of thinking losers and unemployable people - if it wasn't for the fact they were so toxic they would be best used as bumwipes. Use them in your cats box with care!

It is however unlikely you'll hear them on about bigotry, football violence, domestic abuse and all the other maladies that blight Scotland.

Oh yes, they championed and promoted shamelessly the unfit drug dealing and alkie parents of toddler Andrew Morton, the kid murdered by a drug using friend / customer of aforementioned scum parents kukkuk kukkuk kukkuk . And we all know how THAT ended up!

Good facebook tips there Gaz.

Really not surprised that the DR has outed a FAC holder publicly, gutter trash tabloid makes the Sun look almost respectable.

Like you Robert...I've got long memories of the Press bias after Dunblane, especially the Daily Record. ****

And I remember that red faced red handed goon Crawford still buying the rag and wandering around the range with it. Fortunately a few of us gave him a hard time and made him go a bit redder. He should have had his face rubbed in it after it had been put to the only use it might be fit for. (Not sure which I disliked the most the Record or Crawford.)

The retard has never been the same since they dropped the Angus Ogg comic strip.

That almost made the rag intellectual.
