Hi
Does anyone have any experience of these rifles ? I have seen them used in Norwegian shooting competitions and have read that they are constructed so that owners can change their own barrels. Any info would be most helpful as I have never seen one for sale here in UK.
Thanks

Basically its a target version of the Sauer 200 hunting rifle - later developed by changing the safety into the Sauer 202.

I've had a Sauer 200 since 1988 and have used it a lot fordeer control (>500 deer), plus goats, foxes etc. plus target shooting. It's a very accurate rifle and the barrel-change system works extremely well with return to zero etc.

I've never seen a Sauer 200STR here in the UK, the nearest to it being the Sig Sauer SSG 3000.
