My 1942 Savage-built No. 4, FTR'd at Fazakerley in 53. Once again, sorry about the quality of the photos...
It'll be travelling to Bisley on the 21st May (with me!) for the 'Special Interest Day' - anyone else going along?

nice lookin rifle my brother inlaw has a savage very well put together rifles , yours is in very good nik .

Thanks, yes it's in pretty good nick. Can't claim any credit for that unfortunately, I bought it that way and just managed to not muck it up over the three or four years I've had it.

Cheers - since I bought it I've only used handloads - neck-sized HXP brass, Prvi 174gn FMJ and 40gn of N140 - not a hot load by any means but it's accurate and the brass lasts well. Will hopefully be testing some with Vectan TU3000 tomorrow - times are hard!
