Interesting idea having a super premium line of ammunition.

If you had a hunting memory for each of the 30 rounds, I can see how this would be a special thing to do, especially if you had the case mounted with a trophy.

At almost £20 a bang though, it might be an idea to provide a box or two of standard ammunition with the same ballistics for zeroing purposes.

So the ammo costs £580 in this country, yet is priced at £325 in Bulgaria, maybe it's different rounds being compared though.

Ps. I'm just midly amused by this idea, for that money, I would want a rifle!

You shouldn't clean your own rifle. The staff will loose all respect for you if they see you doing things for yourself. lol

I don't think the gold would be possible to remove from the bore, but that's just a guess. Its been a long time since my standard grade in chemistry.

You would however want to have a spotless chamber, because a spot of grit in there would ruin the appealing effect of the case as a keep sake afterwards.

Mercury. Fill the barrel with it (it will be quite heavy) wait 10 then pour it out (but not down the bl00dy sink!)

.............. call me cynical but! is the exclusive future of the sport that the likes of RWS want?

Gold plated projectiles & ruthenium plated cases? what for? just to be more expensive than platinum plated?= pretentious B$hit aimed at people who haven't a clue what their minions are buying for them nor i suspect what they are shooting at with it!

Bet RWS are laughing all the way to the bank every time the sell a set to some sucker though......

Personally I wouldn't have thought that there would have been a market for such ammo but RWS have been selling them for quite a few years now, so it just shows how much I know about marketing and what will and won't sell. Mind you I also said that I couldn't see the Glock catching on when I saw the first Glocks in this country back in the late seventies/early eighties.

I suspect this is aimed at the same sort of market that pays six figures for a drainpipe with a spring-loaded nail and some fancy Dremel work on the outside........
