Can somebody please supply me with the height in MM of the AI Remington short action picattiny action rail for an AX kit please.
I have a Third eye tactical rail and wondered what the height difference is between that and the AI action rail is. I have Warne high mounts and the scope is still too low. Was thinking about putting on an AI rail but wanted to know what the height is.

Re: Accuracy International AX Action Rail
The Warne mounts aren't particularly high.
Plan B is to but piles of 2p coins under the scope until it's at the correct height then measure the height of the pile.
I had a similar problem with a Sightron 10-50x60 on a TAC21 stock as it's a continuous flat rail, no drop like the usual barrel profile, I measured and found a set of these were just right,

Cheap but very good rings (don't buy the lever version!), the "Twist Lock" versions get excellent reviews on the US sites and MidwayUSA. Brownells etc. I've now fitted 2 pairs on my T3's (.260 & .308) and they haven't budged at all with two heavy scopes fitted and a lot of manhandling :)
There's a handy ref. chart showing the various saddle heights to determine which model,
