Hi does anyone know the best place to get 300 Winchester magnum brass
Also the best loads to keep the limits within 4500 joules. can you use normal primers rather than magnum for a downloaded round(is this possible)

Try Wilson & Wilson, they usually have a good supply of W-W brass, other brands may not be so easy to find.

Yes you can use normal rifle primers.

I don't have my load data to hand. Will see what I can dig up for you over the weekend. Staying sub HME is not hard.

I don't use Winchester brass - case head seperation on first reload and loose primer pockets.
I've found German brass to be the best.

Pray tell me where the OP is going to find German (presumably RWS) .300 Win Mag brass easily here in the UK?
