Excellent (ish) turnaround on my FAC - anly 3 weeks this time.
Sadly it has to go back to get the errors corrected! Still I got my variation without any fuss.
7 out of 10 for trying.

Three months for a 1 for 1 in Kent. You don't know how fortunate you are....

Honestly Durham are *&^%$
Latest one, once again FEO's are being sent out to new applicants with drawings of a 12g cartridge and asked to name the 8 different parts, WTF has that got to do with HO guidance or legislation?
Just another exercise by Durham trying to distract Joe Public from their appalling record of licensing f*ck-ups behind meaningless drivel. Despite BASC "having several; words" with them they're requesting doctors letters with all applications/renewals and saying those submitted without them "may" not be processed as quickly.

What like when they rang me this week and asked if I'd send my FAC in as my previous club had told them I wasn't a member this year?. Didn't go down well when I said no :)
I tried explaining that I'd sent it in 2 months ago to have them removed and St.Giles put on instead, took them just over 3 weeks.
She was insistent that their system was showing the previous club so I said that was unfortunate but obviously as I had my FAC in front of me with the correct club on it there was no way I was sending it back to have nothing done to it. Obviously whoever updated it and printed mine off didn't do something properly and their records are wrong.
It's that kind of outstanding record keeping that inspires me to stay in Durham, you know, like completely missing a sec.1 shotgun off my FAC and taking 3 days to find out where they put it (on my SGC!) or loosing notifications of sale/transfer and asking me 2 months later if I had a shotgun s/no xxxxxx as someone in the Midlands had just bought one with the same number :)
