Tactical Bolt Handle Remington 700

Want a tactical bolt fitting to my 700 which is sitting in an AI AX chassis (I shoot a right hand rifle but am left handed) the factory bolt is a little small for me. I have the Plastic KRG two piece jobbie from the states and this is good but want something more permanent. Has anybody had this done and can anybody recommend a person or place to have a proper tactical bolt fitted. Have heard a few horror stories about people wrecking the bolts or causing the factory spot weld to fail and then having to butcher a new handle on etc.

Looking for recommendations.

Yup, try Ovenpaa at The Shooting Shed (or t'Shooting Shed as it will probably be known as soon). He'll be able to help you.

Mike, what did you think of the KRG, I'm thinking about getting the SV version?

Have a look at Glades Armoury in the US. Good choice and excellent service.

I thing the KRG is a cheap and simple way of enlarging the bolt knob.
