Width of Ai chassis at the front between the skins

Anybody know or check this for me.
Basically chassis below the barrel.
Have a little project on and want to know if it is a non starter.

Including the skins? Around 2.0" dependant on exact model.

So the chassis itself? 1.0" give or take a few thou.
