Proper way to clean your Rilfe

Hello long time argument in what is the best way and method to clean your rifle when using corrosive ammunition bangbang
Any ideas please any????

Or, given that ya may be none the wiser.....

An alternative: Just mix up lots of boiling water with a little soapy liquid & have at it....pour through from the breech end, repeat several times...and don't burn ya digits off....

+1 on that, then oil etc as normal.If its corrosive ammo in an AK variant be sure to clean the bolt, bolt carrier and inside the receiver as you can get quite a bit of blowby so better to be safe than sorry.I use a small funnel to get the water down, saves it going everywhere.

On my AKs' and Dragunovs I usually use a kettle full of boiling water and find thats sufficient to flush the corrosive salts out, along with normal cleaning and oiling, as the barrels are hard chrome lined and were produced with corrosive ammo in mind.
I also remove the muzzle brakes on the AKs' and clean them thoroughly and lube the threads, if you don't they will eventually seize solid.
