How long to fit bottom metal....?

I want some bottom metal that uses AI mags, fitted to a Remington LTR. This rifle has an HS Precision sporter stock, so does have an aluminium bedding block. Discussions last year seemed to point that even though straightforward, the ally block means a bit more attention to detail.

So for a benchmark, I asked my local shop to get a quote from a rifle builder they use. where am I looking at, do you think? I can either supply of have the 'smith supply the bottom metal, either way.

I'm intrigued too...

I have mine still sitting here waiting to do it. I'd like to do it myself, but I haven't worked up the courage to attempt it, nor the time recently :(

If it's not too expensive I'd probably get it done elsewhere... It's hard to find decent shops round here that don't charge the earth though :(

I paid £100 to have mine fitted to PSS stock. Valkyrie rifles.
Dunno how long the actual job took, but rifle was there in his shop for 3 weeks.

I'd hope you'd be getting this done to a donor stock...given that there are only two 6.8 LTR's in the UK
