Using an LBP outside of a HO approved club.

Saw someone on Facebook talking about shooting an LBP on private land. I couldn't understand how this could be legal, I'd love to be able to practice on private land but I'd have thought you'd need the pistol on your ticket for vermin right?

Can't see that happening? Thoughts anyone?

Isn't there a story of someone under Merseyside police having a buckmark, getting it converted to an LBP and Merseyside still calling it a rifle on their ticket also?

Yes he did, but all of his guns were on an open ticket. Strange that he had an open ticket as I know him very well and I'm unaware of him shooting anywhere other than an approved range for the 23 years I have known him. As it is he has emigrated to France now so he gets to play with proper pistols instead.

Can't say I blame him.
