Custom paint job

A bit of a pipe dream at the moment but I am thinking of getting a 10/22 in a Boyds stock and returning to gallery rifle comps.
I was thinking that I would like it in candy apple red with a good clear coat on top.
Has anyone had anything similar done? Can recommend anyone?
I have found several custom paint shops on line but I would prefer a recommendation,
DM

Have you considered a regular car/bike body-shop or even DIY-ing it? I'm getting a stock hydro-dipped at the moment, a bit more flexibility with regards to design if you go that route too.

Have you tried getting your colour balance tested?
Should be an easy fix; one good whack on the noggin with a 4lb mallet should restore normal vision.
That said...still way less garish than SimG's "HelloKittyPink" Hatsan

I've had Dave at Valkyrie do some cerakote work, top notch. He has done some great vivid colour work on wooden stocks too. He used to paint scooters back in the day so has experience of deep colours, lacquers etc.
