Have any of you noticed the Artemis Sawfly?

Its a rather interesting new design, for which the designer is trying to raise cash to get it off the ground using crowdfunding.

I don't like it...

I've been following development for this on another forum and I've already put my money where my mouth is.

The guy that designed it visits my club range quite often and I have actually held the prototype and it's a nice piece of kit and very nicely balanced and pointable.I last spoke to him a few weeks ago and from the conversation it's going to be a quality rifle and he has certainly put a lot into it.

It looks good , but is it just an over engineered 10/22 , which will be over priced . No doubt it will have its followers if that's what floats your boat .

Firstly it is ugly, secondly it seems pretty mundane nothing really novel or innovative about it.

Like to see what they sell for.

Still it is a gun and if it seems to be what you want then buy it.

The test will be how many, and how quickly they turn up second hand.
